Eastside's own service guide

We recommend that you follow your manufactures servicing schedule for your vehicle, either by mileage or annually. These will be individually priced as per manufactures time and components required.  For customers with older vehicles we have tailored a series of services, minor, intermediate and major.Pricing starts from £57 depending on filter(s) and quantity of oil used. We use fully synthetic oil unless the manufacturer requires long life or other specialist oil.

We will stamp your service book or provide one of our own. You will be given a copy of the service schedule and if applicable a diagnostic memory read out. Any defects found will be advised unless it affects the safety of the vehicle in which case we will contact you for authority to carry out the extra work. Minor Service from £57
Check all exterior lights. Check and top up all fluid levels, brake, power steering, gearbox and screen wash. Check density and top up coolant. Check tyre pressures and condition. Check condition and operation of wiper blades. General visual inspection of the underneath of the vehicle. Drain and renew engine oil and filter.

Intermediate Service from £100

All of the minor service plus renew air filter and pollen filter (if applicable). Check drive belt(s). Wheels off check front brakes. Check steering and drive shaft gaiters and joints. Operation of clutch. Check aircon (if applicable) Check battery and grease terminals. Read diagnostic memory (if applicable)

Major Service from £164

All of the intermediate service plus, a thorough check of the steering and suspension joints. Wheels off  check all brake components, hoses and pipes. Check wheel bearings. Check valve clearences. Replace fuel filter (unless vehicle is fitted with a long life one) Replace spark plugs. Check all fuel lines. Lubricate all door locks and hinges.

We can add an emissions service to any of the above for £19.98 (petrol) or £21.15 (diesel).

Cambelts, the replacement of brake fluid/LHM, LDS, Coolant, Eolys and particulate filters should be done at manufactures specific time schedules and will be at extra cost.

When your car is in for a service or repair, could you please make sure that their is sufficient fuel in the tank to carryout road test's and other procedures which require the engine to run. If you have locking wheel nuts could you please leave the tool available, thankyou.
